1 Thessalonians | A Healthy Church in Uncertain Times (2:9-12 — The Work of a Pastor)

1 Thessalonians 2:9-12

The work of a pastor is like that of a good Father:

1) LABOR in proclaiming the Gospel.

2 Timothy 2:3-6

2) LIVE as an example of:

• Holiness – devotion to God

• Righteousness – right dealings with others

• Blamelessness – conduct free from reproach

1 Timothy 4:12; Titus 2:7-8

3) LEAD God’s people to live with His Kingdom and glory as the motivation for all that we do.

1 Peter 2:9-12
