Acts 22:30-23:35

1) Strive to live before God with a good conscience
– Cleansed in Christ (Hebrews 9:14)
– Calibrated toward holiness (1 Peter 1:14-15)
– Kept by repentance (1 John 1:7-9)
2) Live courageously with the time God gives
– Remember why we’re here (Matthew 28:19)
– Remember that Jesus is withus (Matthew 28:20)
3) Trust in the sovereign God who determines the length of our days
– Our lives belong to God and are for His glory (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
– The length and circumstances of our lives are ordained by God (Psalm 139:16)
– Death will come when God has decided, but it is not the end; it’s the entrance into eternal life (2 Corinthians 5:4-8)
